FAQs
Find answers to common questions about Blossom Time.
Events are free and carnival rides have varying price options. The pricing guide for this year will be posted soon. Save time and money by purchasing weekend ride bracelets in advance here! (Note that presale ride bracelets are only available BEFORE Blossom Time begins.)
Generally speaking, the show must go on!
Parking for any event is on a first-come basis, and is limited in Chagrin Falls.
The Jaycee’s work closely with the balloonists to evaluate the weather and conditions for the events. If the weather will not allow any balloon activity, we try to make that call by 3pm on the specific day. Sometimes the weather is warm and sunny, which seems perfect for balloons, but the wind may be too high. These calls will be made at the pilots meeting at 6pm each night. In certain conditions, the pilots will allow the public to come onto the field to talk to the pilots and take pictures. Sometimes this even includes being able to get into a basket and pull the cord for the burner. The final decision will be made after the pilot meeting at approximately 6:30pm. We will have many food trucks and live music to enjoy while waiting. We will post any updates here on our website and on the JC Facebook page.
There is handicapped parking in the rear lot used by the teachers and administrators. LIMITED regular parking is allowed in all other parking lots of the school. We would suggest arriving early if the weather turns out to be great as the lots will likely fill up. Please do not park at St. Joan of Arc church.
See the pages for each Blossom Time event here on our website. You can also check the schedule of events here.
Located next to the Jaycee tents, there is a dedicated space provided by Geauga Women’s Specialties with an infant changing table, basic supplies, and chairs for parents/caretakers to step out of the hustle of the event and care for the children.
