Blossom Time Weekend

Blossom Time is one of the most wonderful weekends of the year in Chagrin Falls.
Every year on Memorial Day Weekend, the Chagrin Valley Jaycees organize a carnival with a midway, carnival games, food, and rides in Chagrin Falls River Park, but that’s just part of the festivities.

Carnival at Riverside Park
Starting the Thursday of Memorial Day Weekend through Sunday of the weekend, the Chagrin Valley Jaycees partner with Bates Amusements to bring a carnival to Riverside Park.
This carnival includes several thrilling ride for teenagers and adults, kiddie rides for youngsters, various carnival food and games.
Balloon Glow
Balloon Glow is the greatest light show. Balloonists inflate their balloons at dusk and light them up to the amazement of the audience. It is a free event and geared toward the entire family.
Taste of Chagrin
Various food trucks from around North East Ohio gather on North Franklin Street Saturday of Blossom Time and open their windows up to the public.
Various foods include carnival treats, Smoothies, burgers, pulled pork sandwiches and much much more.
Big Top Tent Fun
Throughout Blossom weekend, the Big Top Tent holds outstanding activities and music located at Riverside Park.
Various activities includes the gyro eating contest, karaoke night, kids day filled with a handful of activities for the little ones and the famous John Kline Sr. Pie Eating Contest.
Blossom Time Run
It's the greatest 5.25-mile race in the history of the world and it's back! The Lyndall Insurance Blossom Time Run is a favorite for competitive and not-so-competitive runners alike. This year's race will feature a finishers medal for every paid registration. Don't think about running without paying because you won't get the finisher medal!
7:00 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. - Race Day Registration and Packet Pick Up
9:00 a.m.- 5.25-mile run and 1-mile fitness walk begin on River Street & West Street
10:15 a.m.- 1/4 Mile Kiddie Run (ages 7 & Under) on Franklin Street - kids will run up and back into a chute
Blossom Time Parade
On Sunday of Blossom weekend, a parade will commence heading from Chagrin Falls Highschool, down East Washington Street and into the heart of the Village.
This celebration was held annually prior to World War II and was revived by the Jaycees with excellent success. Bands, Floats, Fire Engineers, Marching Units and more are featured in this parade.
Previous parades have estimated 60,000 in attendance.
