Will You Be One of the 1,000?
We want to thank everyone for their support over what should have been Blossom Time weekend. It was strange for us not to hold Blossom Time, and we know it was strange for you too.
We want to take a minute to talk about our 50-50 raffle that will be going until July 4th. We appreciate those who’ve already bought tickets, and we hope that many more of you will find it in your budgets to participate. We know it’s not easy for everyone right now. $100 isn’t a small sum of money.
Our thoughts were that we could find 1,000 families in the Chagrin Valley who would be able to participate. We thought having a considerable prize would make it exciting. Most of all, we want anyone who can help to feel a sense of pride that they’re directly helping fuel our charitable mission in a year where our fundraising was all but decimated.
You are entering for what could be a huge cash prize, but you’re also helping great charities that feed and protect people in the Chagrin Valley. You’re assisting charities that care about veterans, our first responders, and local arts.
We’ve seen the Chagrin Valley rally around Grove Hill, local businesses via the Chagrin Valley Chamber of Commerce’s fantastic gift card program, and many other initiatives. It’s been incredible and impressive to see what we all can accomplish.
We don’t take your support for granted. We don’t feel that it’s our turn. We know it’s been a lot this year for many of us already. Our members have been involved in many of these same things too. We get it.
With all that said, we humbly ask you to buy a ticket or two if you can. It’s not Blossom Time, but it could check the two most important boxes that Blossom Time checks every year.
Does it help the community? Check. Is it fun? Check.
Will you be one of the 1,000? We’d be honored and humbled if you would.
